Sydney's Book Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a love for books and reading in children ages 3 to 5. Our program focuses on the importance of early literacy and reinforcing the need to read in an effort to create a passion for learning that follows them through life both in and outside of school. Our book club events are uniquely structured not just as a learning program for the kids but with a play date/mommies group feel. Studies show that children that enter kindergarten already possessing the ability to read and perform at even minimal levels of comprehension continue to thrive above their peers from elementary well into the high school performance levels. We are dedicated to empowering parents to not only rely on the public education system to teach our children, but to step up and proudly devote their time and attention as their child's First Teacher.
