The journey of becoming one of the best in the world is really tricky.
There is no recipe. There is no strategy. There is no method to become world class at something. It is very, very difficult to do. There are some core elements, tools and things that end up happening.
One is people put in work. They put in work in a very diligent way. It's very precise. Those who enter the world stage have spent a lot of time honing in and developing their craft.
To stay the best in the world, to stay at the world class level; they also tend to have a good understanding of who they are because they are going to be faced with many, many, many challenges. To be able to navigate that space, they have to have a good understanding of who you are.
There are some core tools that need to drop in place, as well, that people have either developed or learned on their own. They have a sense of how to be calm in moments. They have generated a sense of self-confidence. They know how to feel good about who they are and be proficient in what they do. They have this ability to focus in the moment, and the ability to become deeply emersed in what they are doing. That is the only way to be precise at something.
This last element is that they figured out how to be fluid, how to adjust. If folks haven't figured out, all of these things are teachable skills; how to be calm, focused, self-confident, and the ability to adjust.
