What Are Other Ways Of Reaching Out To Your Teens Where They Don't Feel Violated At A Certain Age?

I had an experience with my oldest son where he tried to disrespect me in the worst way as I questioned him one day about a new girlfriend. He got very defensive about this issue and really took it to another level. Another question would be where do you think the limits should be when it comes to a teenager's privacy level? Any answers anyone/

I think when health and safety are involved, yours or theirs, parents get to pull rank, and be the parent, not the "friend," who will always be well-liked!
