My advice for dealing with these special occasions after the death of partner. For me, the best thing that we've done is we've just kept Liz alive by celebrating these days. We celebrate her birthday, but we do it in a way that focuses on one will go to Disneyland, we go on a vacation and we do all the things that we normally do if Liz where here. But we don't make it really weird, it not like we set up play setting for Liz, it is not that she is physically present, but what we do is we take that day as another way of sort of remembering who this person was in our lives. And it's another way to celebrate Maddilyn. I've taken all of these special occasions, whether they are Liz's birthday or the anniversary, or death or anything that meant anything to us through out her life. And we just celebrate Maddilyn. It;s just a way of focusing 100% on my child and because her mom died the day after she was born we have a relally difficult time because her birthday comes before her mom's death anniversary. And as a result to that, we have to make sure that Maddilyn is well taken care of all the time. What I've done for her first birthday, we took a trip, we went to Mexico with some friends. Her second birthday, we flew to Paris. For her 3rd birthday, we went back to Mexico with my wife's family. And for her 4th birthday, we were in Phoenix. And we just take all these trips all the time and we celebrate my daughter as much as we possibly can. But with that eye and the memory toward Liz.
