A lot of people ask me, do I have to nap coach Kim? It's just the night is so much work. They're sleeping in a car seat. They're sleeping a stroller. Do I have to do this too? And the answer is no. You don't have to do this. You can leave it be, as long as they are napping. And it's not 20 minute naps here and there throughout the day. So if they sleep, take a good nap in the stroller, let it be. Put the stroller in a quiet room even if it's in the apartment. Because I've had parents who do this who live in the city, and it's bad weather and they can't go out. They put their 1 ½ year old in the stroller. And they stroll him around the apartment. They go to sleep. They put him in a quiet room. And they let them take a nap there. It's not the end of the world. I mean, motion sleep is not as restorative as stationary sleep, but I will take it over no sleep. Because as we know no sleep will create more problems at night and a much more difficult bed time.
