What are my suggestions about talking to kids about alcohol? That is not an easy question to answer. As part of my commitment to participating in the FAAR initiative, one of the things we talk about is talking early and often to your kids. I think we lead by example. And I think it’s important we pay attention and are conscious about how we’re indulging around our kids. And as they get older, how they might perceive that. How we hold ourselves, hopefully in moderation around them. I think another thing that’s also important that isn’t necessarily anchored in alcohol is having an open dialogue with your kids from an early age allowing them to feel like they can come to you with anything without fear of consequence.
