External factors like electronics or pollution, toxic chemicals certainly make ADHD worse, but they don’t cause it. The ADHD is almost always caused by genetics; you’re born with this predisposition. And then the environment exacerbates it or makes it better. Too much electronics, bad food, pollutants make it worse. A more stable, structured environment, less electronics, good food make it better. But the underline cause most of the time is a genetic predisposition.
