There are a host of brain exercise that can help improve attention, but I wouldn't go to those right away. The most important brain exercises are going to school, reading a book, playing sports, eating a family dinner, having a conversation with a friend, doing a puzzle, doing your homework. You get enough brain exercises, so to speak, simply going through your day. I don't think you need to fold in additional sort of brain enrichment exercises. I think often time parents try to do too much. Simply having a connected childhood with the usual demands that childhood includes, from schoolwork to sports to getting along with others. That's enough brain exercise. I don't think you need to do any more.
