ADHD is genetically transmitted most of the time. The odds are that if you as a parent have ADHD one in three that each child will have ADHD. Now, if both parents have ADHD, the odds are two out of three that each child will have it. Of course, those are odds. None of your children may have. All of your children may have it. One parent: Odds are one out three. Two parents: Odds are two out of three per child.
