Temporary inconvenience vs. the trip of life
The best parenting advice I could give you is to just enjoy your time with your child. I never want something that is very small and consequential to get in the way of something that can be just tremendous experience for me or for my daughter. For example, getting on an airplane with a child can me terrifying for a new parent or even the season parents, somebody who had a kid for a very long time. It is something really difficult to do and you are worried about those around you whether or not they are going to be upset your child crying. What I have learned is that, even when your child cries for the entire 8 hour trip which is almost physically impossible. The pay off once you arrived at that place, no matter where it is. it is going to be valuable for you and for your family and for your child. You don't want to forego that just because you have a bad experience, for your child cries for 8 minutes. Where you have some guy in Business Class whose really angry at you. It is something that you should be caring about, you should be caring about you child and your own experiences. The rest of it can be figured out, I mean you can buy drinks for those around you and make them feel better and comfortable.
P.S. If you do travel a lot, this is a great resource for those who like to travel in style: https://www.limofind.com/
