How do I manage sibling arguments? There are a multitude of things I think that I do. Most of the arguments with my kids specifically being 4.5 and 2.5, they’re just starting to learn how to play together 70% nicely, 30% not so nicely. I think a lot of the arguments are rooted in sharing. I tend to have to break up a lot of fights and some of the things I do have been working on time outs. But most importantly getting down on both of my kids’ levels, so they’re not looking up at a 6’ giant and making eye contact with them. Even touching their hands and face just to let them know that I’m there and I’m speaking directly to them so they understand what I’m trying to get across to them.
