Well, it's always safe to ask your OB/GYN to get undressed as well. I think that if you would feel more comfortable with your doctor naked, then proceed that way. Just kidding. It's inevitable that your OB/GYN will have to see you naked at some point, but if you express your concerns early on with your doctor, I'm sure they will accommodate you and have a chaperone in the room if that makes you more comfortable or minimize the number of times it needs to be done, but you need to communicate with your doctor early on so they know it's a level of discomfort for you .
