I prefer online shopping for my kids. I feel like I can get a better deal and be more budget concious. It's really hard to shop WITH them in stores. I can use coupon codes and often get free shipping. I usually try to stick with stores we have nearby so I can easily return or exchange without having to deal with return shipping. For myself, I like to be able to try things on.
It depends on what I am shopping for...but I am probably more a fan of online shopping. We live in a very small town with few "big store" names. Our selection isn't great, so online shopping helps!
Definitely depends what I am buying. I would say I most often buy clothes for myself instore when I find really good deals, but do love shopping for the kids gifts online since I am never by myself. I only do it though if there is free shipping and definitely don't miss out on the coupon codes. One thing I always have to buy online is pants for my son and husband. They are both very tall 6'8 and 6'10 nd thin. Very hard to find. My son wears 29x36 and husband is 38 inseam. THey don't sell these in any stores - even Big and Tall
I do a lot of online shopping these days, I just don't have the time to get to the store. Plus, I am so incredibly indecisive that when I do go I have a difficult time making quick decisions.
I love online shopping and when I think now you can find anything you want online, I love it. Plus we live where winters are very bad and I can shop with Amazon Prime and get what I want delivered fast. Also means not wasting gas, wear and tear on your vehicle, your time and more and that is so important to me.
I do love online shopping, but when it comes to clothes it can be difficult because the sizes are so different from brand to brand. I "accidently" became an Amazon Prime member (free trial, forgot to cancel - oops) and I love the convenience of it! I'm always looking for more things I can use it for.
If I know the size to by or it is a book or an item I have used before I prefer online. If it something that someone needs to try on I prefer to go in person. My teenagers love online shopping!

It does depend on who I am shopping for! I do like Amazon quite a bit and it is easy to shop on there with Prime. The free shipping is an advantage to online shopping and no crowds.
I love that you can find nearly anything you need in a moment with google, yellow tutu, purple mary janes, Dinoasaur raincoat. etc It is really good when you need something obscure. If you are searching for different kinds of toys, the selection is usually better. Just love it, click, click done.

Me too! I feel like I have more time to decide when I shop online. I do abandon a lot of online shopping carts though! LOL

I sometime find it overwhelming to shop in real stores. The lack of crowds is probably why I like online shopping so much.
beachcitymom
yes, crowds seem to bother me more than when I was younger...so online shopping is easier.
