New to Kids in the House!

Hi! I'm Alana, a relatively new parent. I have a daughter who is turning two on the 19th (just one day before my own birthday!) and a son who was born on Valentine's day this year. My husband and I are happy parents but of course we have parenting questions that come up on a regular basis. We are happy we found Kids in the House and specifically this forum to help answer those questions. Looking forward to hearing advice from the experts and other parents on the site :)

Hi everyone! My name is Natalie and I'm excited to get some parenting tips and advice from other moms and dads out there! I have an 18-month old son and my second is on the way. My husband and I are excited to grow our family but we need help! We are so thankful Kids in the House has so many resources for us and we can't wait to hear what other parents have to say.

Alana, you're in such an exciting place!! I know it's a stereotypical thing to say, but truly enjoy where you're at, it goes so fast. My oldest is entering his senior year of school and I can't believe it. And what a coincidence that your daughter was born a day before your own birthday! It must be an incredible bonding experience to celebrate.

My oldest is going to be a senior too and it does fly by. Seems like he was just born. Just took him for his senior pictures and I really don't feel old enough for that. Seems like I just got mine done yesterday.
