Kids Sharing a Room

I have 5 kids in a 4 bedroom house. That means some have to share rooms. They usually get along, but when it's time to clean it's war. Anyone have great tips on helping kids who share a room keep it clean.

I have children who share a room. I divide the responsibility. Before school I ask that one picks up while the other brushes teeth. In the evening, I ask that one cleans up while the other washes dishes. This seems to eliminate fighting and get the task done.

Love that idea and do agree it's best to seperate them. Will definitely give it a try for the evening chores. Don't know if it will work in the morning since they leave aqt different times.

You can make it work whenever one is doing one thing, the other can clean. My kiddos don't seem to mind so much...maybe have the one who leaves later in the morning do a morning clean and then when the other comes home, an afternoon clean?
