Do you have pets?

We have 3 dogs-An American Bulldog, A Westie and a Maltese. We have one cat a Pixie Bobcat. My older boys have 2 lizards and fish.

We don't have any. I feel like I have a hard enough time keeping my kids alive. haha. But now that they are getting older I'm starting to break down and considering a dog or a cat. There are allergy concerns though.

That's a lot of pets.We've had cats, but haven't had too much luck with them. A couple of times we had litters of kittens. Once, we had a hamster named SpongeBob.

We don't have any either! I would love for the kids to have a dog some day when they are a bit older, but I just can't handle it right now!

We just have fish. My husbands and kid keep pushing for a dog, but I say guess who would have to take care of it -Me. Guess who really doesn't like dogs. ME, and guess who already has to clean up after 6 other people and doesn't have time to be wiping off dogs feet after they go outside - ME. So far it's worked and we don't have a dog.

Exactly. I like dogs but I have plenty on my plate already and I know the majority of the responsibility would fall to me.

Wow okay that is different, usually the majority have at least one dog that I talk to. I could not imagine life without them. We live on 24 acres out is the mountains. I love having my pets.

We have a cat and a puppy. This is our first puppy and is so much fun! Our cat is almost 4. I have always had cats and it is really fun having a dog too.

My kitties were my first kids - they are 14 & 15. I know they won't be around forever but my girls love them...

We have a schweenie named Bailey Mae and a stray we captured in the neighborhood named Jeb. We love them so very much and I can't imagine them not being a part of our family.

Yeah, I agree cannot imagine life without pets. I mean my big dog is a comfort to me as well living where I live. I just would not feel safe without her.

We have only had our puppy since Marh but can't imagine life without him. He is like another child..

Yes, we have two yellow labs. My son was bit by a dog when he was 3 and both he and my daughter were terrified of dogs after that. I ended up getting an 8 week old puppy from a rescue society. Ended up getting a playmate for him also. I am happy to report that they are no longer afraid. We also had some fish along the way as pets.
