My wife/partner has 3 children ages 9, 11 and 13 from a previous marriage to a man. We have been together for 5 and a half years and we are married (well, at least in MA we are married). Our children are also parented 50% of the time with their father, step-mother and her 3 children from a previous marriage. We are hoping to connect with other LGBT parents who have similar situations and are open to discussing how to help kids (and ourselves) navigate the very different rules/values/ideas when they live in 2 separate households 50% of the time. Parenting is hard enough when the family is "traditional." Add in an angry ex-husband and unsupportive in-laws (mine) and here we are. We are open for discussion and ideas. Thanks. N&G
