Are you the person already done? Do you live for Black Friday? Do you wait for Cyber Monday? Do you buy everything online? What is your shopping style?

Before I had kids I started very early and was "finished" before November but that just meant I kept buying more because I still had time. I don't usually do Black Friday but I do check out online deals including Cyber Monday. A lot of my shopping depends on where I have gift cards for — I'm paid with gift cards sometimes so I usually have a good selection for Christmas shopping. Shopping online is easiest for me, espeically with 3 kids that are usually with me!

I wouldn't be caught dead on Black Friday & I don't start shopping til after Thanksgiving. I love Christmas, but I hate the commercialism & try to put it off as long as possible.

Totally agree!

I definitely do a combo of online and Black Friday. My teens are easy to buy for online so far!

All of the above. However, I really try not to go overboard on the kids or anyone else. I try to aim for quality not quantity and keep it simple.

I haven't started at all and I don't Black Friday shop. If I bought kids things now there is a really good chance come Christmas they wouldn't even like it. I do most of my Christmas shopping online. The stores are just so crazy at that time it makes it much easier.

Before I had my son..I loved Black Friday. It used to be a tradition with my Mom and I. Over the years, it has changed though. I would rather sleep in..lol.

The black Friday is insane to me and truthfully I find great gifts for my kids on Amazon. As kids get older it is easier because they usually want electronics and clothing. I don't shop that much ahead as I would probably give it to them. Unless there is a super deal for something I wait until at least November.

I also try to keep it simple. I don't shop months ahead of time. I don't really even think about it until November, though I'm always putting my kids off with, "That sounds like a good thing to put on your Christmas list!" when they ask for something.

Ugh! I'm the last minute shopper. My kiddos change their minds on things...I have never gone shopping on Black Friday--I'm not planning to anytime soon either.

I am also finding as my son gets older..he changes his mind more frequently.

I've had it happen where I buy something early because they swear it's what they want and then as the time comes closer, they've forgotten totally about it.

I agree, when my kids mention things in passing that they would like I try and purchase it soon after. By the time Christmas comes around sometimes they have forgotten they even asked for it! Makes it fun to watch them open things.
