I just joined here as I am in great need for help. We are planning to move to Shanghai soon with 1 kid 4 years old. I am a really worried as I have read a lot about the air pollution issues. I would like to know what people who has actually traveled to that part think about the intensity of pollution. Will my kid become sick due to the bad air quality?. Should I limit his outdoor activities. It is very far away, I’m having a lot of issues with the moving. I contacted a long distance moving company in Canada, they will take care of our luggage. But I’m really worried about this pollution. Please share some advice. I don’t want my kid to suffer.

I understand you, and I also was very alarmed when I went to China. Discussed with my doctor, and he told me there is nothing to worry about if you go there for a month or about a month.
