If someone with ADD marries someone who also has ADD, that's a recipe for potential disaster, because neither one knows how to plan and organize. However, if you get the right coach or therapist, it can be a marvelous marriage. What more often happens is what happened in my marriage. I have ADD. My wife does not. And we're very complementary. She's the stabilizer, the organizer, the one who makes the trains run on time. I'm the one who adds the energy, the new ideas, the spontaneity. And we balance each other in a very complementary fashion and it works wonderfully.
