Though I baby proofed my house after my baby came I think that it is a good idea to baby proof your house before the baby comes. I installed smoke and CO detectors in each bedrooms and checked on them regularly to see whether they were working properly. Preparing yourself by learning some appropriate CPR and Heimlich maneuver is also important. How did you guys bay-proof your houses?
