Hello!

Hi, I consider myself a veteran at parenthood! I have two grown kids and I'm looking forward to starting my collection of precious grandbabies anytime now. I'm a screenwriter/producer and I'm currently working on a documentary about abuse against the elderly and disabled.
I absolutely adore kids and have been in love with them since my first doll as a tot and my first babysitting job at 12. I consider myself somewhat of a mother to the world-haha.
I'm looking forward to making regular contributions and imparting some of my massive stores of time-tested and proven mom wisdom to this site ;) and of course getting to know the great people on here!
I look forward to learning a lot from other parents and experts on here.

Hey Kym, welcome to the site!Definitely sounds like you might have gone through the ringer here, haha so glad to see you made it out to the other side! How old are your kids now?

Thanx Craig! Yes, we've had our challenges but my daughter is happily married & enjoying life. She's going to be the big 3-0 this October. My son while off to a rocky start got his attitude problems straightened out & he's now a fantastic young man (ladies out there!) at 25. He's got a great job & wants to attend engineering school. Tell me something about your girls.

Hi Hayden. Happy to meet you. Tell me something about your kids. My situation was unusual in that I had to raise my son all by myself without family help. I only had my daughter for half her life since she opted to stay with her dad's family in CA. She didn't like WA I'm afraid. :/ Btw, how do you add a pic to your profile? I can't figure it out!

Hey, Kym! Welcome! I can't imagine my kids being adults. So glad yours are happy and well! I already feel like time is going so fast and my girls are only 9 and 5. See you around the boards!

Kym, It is nice to meet you. It sounds like you have an interesting career. I have all boys so I am sure I could learn a thing or two from you since your son is an adult.
