We're gearing up for April, Alcohol Responsibility Month, with the launch of our new educational materials with Scholastic! We're sending materials from our Ask, Listen, Learn program featuring our partner, Classroom Champions, to over 25,000 classrooms around the country to help kids say NO to underage drinking through fun activities and classroom discussions! Last year, our program featuring three-time National Champion and Olympic gold medalist Ashley Wagner with Scholastic successfully encouraged parents and kids to talk about underage drinking and provided them with information they needed to understand more about the consequences of underage drinking.
Whether you're a student, teacher or parent, there are ways to talk about the dangers of underage drinking, and #responsibility around alcohol. We encourage you to keep the conversation going on social media using #Responsibility.
Responsibility comes in many forms. Responsibility as a parent means to answer the tough questions, as a teacher or counselor - to be a trusted adult that kids can come to, and as a kid- having the confidence to say YES to a healthy lifestyle and say NO to underage drinking.
Are you a teacher or counselor who had a great discussion about the dangers of underage drinking? We can't wait to hear from you and help give you more resources to answer them thoroughly.
We'll give you everything you need to know about how to engage with your students or kids during April, Alcohol Responsibility Month!
