Cranio-sacral therapy is the modality that addresses the movements of the bones of the head and the foundation of the spine, and the soft tissue and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. The work is extremely gentle and great for babies, but it is also very powerful on how it relaxes the central nervous system. For babies who have a difficult time of latching or nursing, babies who have irritable digestive systems or irritable in general, the babies that when you put them down they tend to have a hard time or they wake up excessively during their naps and sleep. And also it's great for babies who have torticolis, where they are born with their heads stuck into a tilt position.
