The emergency phone list is a very important piece of our response. We need to have those list posted on the wall or somewhere near our telephone. They include a phone number for all immediate family members, including their cellphones; the pediatricians phone number and name; probably, the local Poison Control Center in your city; and anyone else who might be available in the immediate area to help. This could also include the phone number for your local police or fire department. Certainly, somewhat less important numbers like the family dentist, or someone else who is further down the line. But clearly, it should include family members and immediate care providers such as the pediatrician.
