The way to address all the different personalities and needs of all my kids is first to identify them. And to treat everybody different, because just when you think you got the key with your older child, it doesn't work with the next one. And the sooner that you realize that, the more effective parent you are. And you deal with each child independently, even as far as their punishment. Things that work with one won't work with the other. And you need to be flexible and realize that the other kids might say that it's not fair. I tell them the fair is in Pomona. But you just have to be willing to be flexible and identify each child independently.
