Mamavation is the first online virtual sorority or called the sisterhood and it is trademarked. What it basically is this women all over the country supporting each other in healthy living. And how we do that is several ways, we have a hash tag in tweeter that is called Mamavation, it going constantly all day long, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. you can jump in at a anytime and talk in with other women about your struggles and your challenges on losing weight and trying to teach your family healthy living. We are also in Facebook, we have a private Facebook group for members only. But if you want to be part of the actual sorority, you don't really need a blog but most of our sorority members are bloggers. So what do you have to do is you have to give us a weekly update, and what that update is either on my site Mamavation.com in the forms or on your own blog. And then what we do is the blogging carnival, so on Monday, everybody reads everybody else's blogs and they comment and support each other. And so that is how we kind of all come together and take a check-in, this is how I am doing, and everybody does that. And our rules are, you have to pledge to get in, and the only thing you really have to do is tell us on your blog is hey, I want to join Mamavation. And just jump in, and then every Wednesday I invite people to the sorority. And what you have to do is make sure that you stay current so you have to post every week but you can disappear up to 3 weeks at the time if you've got something going on and then comeback. And sometime, we have to move people from active status to inactive because they have been gone for more than 3 weeks but all you have to do is say hey, I want to comeback, and then you can come right back. But mostly what the sisterhood is about is just really, really supporting other women in health and so cause when you are doing something like this, you got a lot of questions and you also need experiences from other women cause non of us are the same. And so, what happened to my life is not necessarily gonna be true for what is happening in you life, but there would be somebody in the community that can help you that you will identify with. So really the sorority is just like a love fest, it's what I called it.
