One resource that I am familiar with that I've used myself is an organization called Sorry Spirits Lost Foundation and they work very closely to widow people, match them up with other widow people who have experienced the death in about same amount of time. So for instance, if your partner has died and it has been 6 months since your partner died, they'll match you up with somebody else whose partner died within 6 months. And they match it women up with women, and men up with men, gay men up with gay men and they try to make that experience something that easier for both groups to discuss and to be able to talk about in a way that is meaningful to them. You can get out to talking with other men in my case. Talking to another men abotu this experience si so much different tha talking to a woman about the experience. And so, having that as an option is really, really important. They are support group that meets twice a year basically. It's called Camp Widow, it sound like a horrible thing but it's a place where widows come together and sit here some workshops and learn a little bit about what's it like to widowed but at the same time, meet other people who are just like that. And that's a lifesaver for a lot of these folks. I've witness it first hand.
