How do I feel emotionally about my wife breastfeeding in public? This was interesting for me. I think, you know, my gut instinct was to knock everyone out that was looking at my wife while she was breastfeeding in public, which obviously isn't something you can do. It's taking - it's one of those thing I never thought of. It's taking what used to be kind of a private moment between partners to - the whole purpose has changed in moving from a private to a public situation. But the one thing to keep in mind is that this is for the best in nurturing your child. And I think that maybe there's an opportunity for a conversation there between you and your partner. If it makes the other person uncomfortable for you to be breastfeeding in public, maybe be a little more modest. Maybe use a scarf or a blanket to be a little more discreet to make everyone - not just yourselves - but perhaps in a restaurant or in a public setting, comfortable.
