The treatment regiment for a baby with hand, foot, and mouth disease is relatively simple, but not simple to administer. It basically consists of keeping the fever down, which you would be using Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen. And then the main thing that really helps is a concoction that the pharmacist will give you, which is called Magic Mouthwash. And that basically you have to get into the back of your baby’s throat, because that’s where al the painful blisters are. And I knew immediately that this stuff was like magic, because my son would finally stop crying and be able to sleep. So it was a great thing and definitely lived up to its name being magic.
