Peer pressure is a huge issue for teenagers today. It's really important for parents to help their teenager find a solid group of friends. As teenagers spend more time online, on Facebook chatting, they actually develop two groups of friends. Online friends they don't know very well, and offline friends from school. The first way to help your teenager is to make sure they have a solid set of three or four friends they can depend on when they are in trouble. Second, make sure your teenager has an inner strength. They usually get this from passions; hobbies, sports, extracurricular activities. If they feel strong and really good about themselves, they are less likely to succumb to peer pressure.
