When you are talking to your child about anger and communicating, I think one of the things you talk to them about, there is some things that just aren't acceptable; especially when you are talking about young men.
The best thing to do, as parents, is making sure that we are telling them, "Hey, there is a way that you do and your don't talk to anyone." If your child is displaying issues of anger, it is important that you get them help. One of the things in dealing with anger is that anger can look different from relationship abuse.
It's important to talk to a local domestic violence center, which you can get from "Love is Respect" We can give you information for a referral. When you are talking to any young person about communication, it is important that you tell them that communication is a two-way street. If you are in a relationship, it is important to see where the other person is and take the information back in, be clear, but also give room for the other person to give their opinion.
