I knew he was in at that wrong environment at school. He would not tell me a lot and even today he still tells me that he did not tell me a lot. He did not want to upset me, but I know the boys would not let him go into the boys bathroom. I know that there were families who went to the principal and ask that there child not be in his class and then one day i picked him up from school and he was really upset and we are driving and he is in the backseat. You hear a lot from the backseat and I asked him if he is alright and he said, "You know, no, mommy". and I said. "what happen?" Well, he said something happened today with this girl and I said, "Well, what happened?" and he goes, "well I was standing in line and she kept poking me in the back saying "Your Gay, your gay". Your gay aren't you? Your gay and he goes , "I did what you tell me to do, I tried to ignored her and he goes she kept doing it. She kept saying it; your Gay, your gay" and he goes like, "I tried mommy, I tried. I really tried to ignore her" and I am thinking "God, what did he do" and I said, "well what happens?and he goes, " Well mommy I could not take it anymore so i turned around I looked at her and I said, yeah well and you think you are wearing chiffon, you are not it is a cheap poly blend," and he said, "She ran off crying" and he goes, "I don't even think she knows what a cheap poly blend is but I got her," and like, okay, and that is the thing for him that was really being mean and you know that is kind of a funny little story but the truth was he had to go with that everyday you know everyday he did not have friends, could not use the bathroom. Other parents looking at him, parents that I would look at and say good morning that would look away because my son was that kid so I knew he could not go to school where he was.
