A lot of the schools offer programs for children after high school to go to Europe and other places like that. It's an amazing opportunity, but there is very little supervision. They may have one or two people watching groups of 20 or 30 children. So your child has to be mature enough to handle foreign countries without supervision. They go to places like Amsterdam where drugs can be a problem, crime can be a problem and without supervision, it can lead to a lot of problem for children. So Europe is an amazing trip I highly recommend it. All of my kids went and it was a chance of a life time and it's an opportunity that most of us as parents never got to do. So I encourage it but your child has to be ready for it.
