Having a tween is a difficult thing. They so badly want to be a teenager. Stay on top of them. Monitor the TV, monitor what they are watching. There are so many outside influences now that touch them. What are they watching on the computer? Who are their friends? Are they getting boy crazy? It might be a time to have a conversation about that.
I say just hover and be around them and talk. Talk to them.
