It's normal for everyone to have a little anxiety, especially around taking a test, meeting someone new, going to a new school, something like that. That's all normal anxiety.
When you start to notice that it become excessive, there is an excessive worry happening; maybe stomach aches or headaches going on with the child. They seem really irritable or tearful at times; this is when you may notice that there is a little more of an anxiety disorder happening.
