When your children are little you think you are never going to see that day when they go off to college. I have a Junior in high school, a Freshman in high school, and a Sixth Grader.
My daughter is in the throes of taking PSATs, ACTs realizing this is a crucial year for her academically and for his other activities that he does outside of school. You have to be true to themselves. Some parents want their kids to go to Ivy League Schools, and that's unrealistic because not every kid is a straight A student, and tests perfectly on their SATs.
There is a college out there for everybody. Everybody has their mind set, but they will end up where they end up.
