The reason we even brought that question to our attention was our friends who had children, or had given birth at similar times… kids go through milestones when they’re infants of sitting up, rolling over, crawling, walking. And Alex was not meeting those. So at around a year, when she was far behind in many of the milestones, her mother and I decided that it was time to go see a specialist. And I don’t remember the specific type of test that he administered, and the reason I don’t remember is just from then, when she was 13 months to – she’ll be 21 years old in a month – the kid has been through hundreds of tests.
