My son currently receives occupational therapy, speech therapy, group speech and social skills class, in-home behavior, and one-on-one aid at school.
At different points in his life, different therapies have been more important. Early on, speech was essential. Occupational therapy was essential for fine motor and for regulating behavior. Right now, anything that deals with social behavior, dealing with pragmatics and other children is essential. Behavior, ABA behavior helps create a framework, a structure for him and a structure for me, so that I know he relates best to this next, this next and this next. So they are all important.
