Sibling rivalry is a problem for parents. Parenting siblings is at least twice as hard as an only child! Reduce conflict and promote cooperation with positive reinforcement. Praise kids when they're playing together. Recognize brothers and sisters when they refrain from fighting or teasing. Let them know what you expect from them -- and act pleased when you get it.
