Transcription:
Fibroids are an overgrowth of the muscle tissue in the uterus. They can affect a patient’s fertility if they press into the uterine cavity or if they’re located in the uterus itself. If a patient does have a fibroid that’s either impinging on the cavity or inside the uterine cavity, then it’s our recommendation for them to undergo a surgery where we can remove that fibroid prior to them undergoing fertility treatment.
