I would definitely attempt a home birth again, even though we ended up in the hospital with my son. I know that home birth is not for anyone, but it was a beautiful, magical experience for me and my husband, and my baby. I was in a comfortable place. I was eating my own food. I was in and out of the water. I was surrounded by love, by the musics, the scents, and my dog.
It was everything that I wanted. I wanted to move around, to be naked, to be not naked; to do whatever I needed to make myself comfortable during this stage of labor. It served us very well.
