So my son has lived with his grandparents for about two years, he's 4 now. This was due to a very complicated situation. Nevertheless I saw him weekly and we did a very good job. Now, I get him more often in an attempt to transition him back to his only competent parent (mother is MIA), but he absolutely does not listen to a thing I say unless I get angry, put him on time-out, or whatever the case may be. He will not eat ANYTHING but sweets or candy or garbage. I am getting to the point where I do not know what to do. How can I make my son take me seriously and treat me as his father?
