The best treatments for moms who have had a vaginal delivery include pelvic floor strengthening. Those tissues need to be assessed internally, as well as externally, to feel what those muscles are like and what strength they have. In conjunction with abdominal, back, and trunk strengthening. As well as, we might add some electrical stimulation, which helps muscle strengthening, and also helps with pain, if they have, as well as, infrared light, ultrasound, heat and ice treatments, in conjunction. Everyone is different, but those treatment modalities are the treatments of choice.
