The best way that I have found to teach my children good values is by example.
If you want them to be honest, then you have to be honest with them. That is not always easy, but it's the best way to do it. It's practice. Any good value you have to practice. They don't always get it right, so you give them an opportunity to try again. That's been the best way to show them good values.
