Couple time, when you are a working mom. Most couples say, "What's couple time?" We all know it's too important to neglect. Nurturing your relationship is not only good for you and your spouse, it is also good for your kids because they see happier parents. Just like for your work and your kids, you may have to schedule couple time. A few hours with your partner and away from your kids can make such a huge difference to your emotional health, to your intimacy, and to your family cohesiveness. It's about date night. Go out to dinner, but don't talk about the kids. Go see a romantic movie. If you don't have a babysitter, wait until your kids are in bed and have a romantic dinner together at home. Get dressed up, crack open the wine, and see where it leads you.
