Transcription:
Why I am often unsuccessful, it is communication, communication, communication. And I make it clear to my children what is going to happen, what they are going to do or what I am going to do. And they do not always follow my lead. They do not always follow instructions. But we have an understanding. And when they do not do what I want them to do, there are consequences. Those consequences are immediate and they are consistent. And so, I think for a parent to expect that their children will always do what they want, good luck. It is probably not going to happen. But the more that your child understands where you are coming from and what is being asked of them, the more likely they are to follow directions.
