You know, you can feel very isolated a lot of times as a parent. And I attack it in a couple of different ways. First of all, I pray a lot. I keep up a running dialogue with God all day long. "God, I really messed that up." Or, "God, I'm losing my cool here." And then I answer myself with scripture. So that helps to keep that relationship going. And then I also turn off into my blog wives, which are the women on the internet who are also humor writers and parenting writers. And they both write in the moment, because Twitter, come on! You can trade stories back and forth really quickly. But also reading their stuff, it gives me a lot of laughter but also a really strong sense of sanity, which every parent needs.
