If your child has bad breath, I would be concerned about two things. I would be concerned about their dental hygiene. So do they have gingivitis? Have they seen their dentist, and had their gums cleaned lately? Do they have any dental decay? That can lead to bad breath. And then the second thing I'd be concerned about is reflux. Is the acid content of the stomach making it back into the mouth and somehow causing bad breath? So I would start with your dentist, because I think that's more common an issue in children. And if we don't find that to be a good remedy then I would definitely discuss this with your pediatrician.
