When thinking about household products, there are many products that you wouldn't necessarily think of that could pose harmful and toxic risks for you and your family. One example of that is laundry detergent. So often, many of the products that are marketed as free and clear doesn't necessarily mean that it's free of chemicals. so it's important to look and make sure that the products say that they are parabin-free and are chemical free. Another example of a hidden toxin in your home is in your cookware. So, many people like the convenience of non-stick, but if a non-stick is derived from Teflon. Teflon is a toxic chemical that can off gas when heated. And for all the moms and women, lead in lipstick is another example which, believe it or not, lead is still being used in lipstick today. So, again, look for products that are natural and maybe ones that are actually labeled lead free. And lastly, one of the hidden toxins is in our perfume and other products that have fragrance in it. Synthetic fragrance is made of hundreds of chemicals, and the companies are not required to disclose the chemicals in that fragrance because the 'fragrance' is considered a trade secret. So, when looking for products it's best to look for ones that are fragrance-free or look for ones that are made from natural fragrance.
